A must for school leaders who are serious about addressing the impact of generative AI on schools and students, this intensive and interactive workshop marries lessons on the law and psychology of AI with practical activities designed to foster collaborative learning.

The workshop takes place over the course of two full days, as follows:

Day 1

Day 1 will focus on developing familiarity with modern generative AI tools, effective uses of prompts, pitfalls to avoid, as well as legal and organizational considerations impacted by the use of generative AI by students and school staff.

Working collaboratively on case studies, participants will test AI-based solutions to a variety of practical scenarios.

Day 2

Day 2 will be focused on a series of group and individual activities in which participants will practice using generative AI technologies in simulated practical scenarios guided by collaborative group discussion and reflection exercises.

At the conclusion of this intensive 2-day training workshop, participants will have had extensive hands-on practical experience with using and engaging with AI technology in simulated real-life scenarios, in a safe and supportive setting designed to foster creativity and learning.

NOTE: All workshop participants will receive one month of access to a team-based generative AI platform to facilitate group learning and collaboration - providing participants with opportunities to work together on workshop material in a supportive team environment.
